Tips For a Pain Free Census Day
The next School Census is on the 16th May 2013 for English schools. It can be one of the busiest days of the year in school and obviously stressful as well.
So to try and help make things run as smoothly as possible we can suggest you try a few of these tips below:
- Ensure you are on the latest version of Facility Administration
- Download the latest guidance and data checking reports from the firstline knowledge base
- Check your census date is correct

Tips to make your census run smoothly…
The next School Census is on the 4th October 2012 for English schools. Census is always one of the busiest days of the year in support, and is obviously a stressful day in school for everyone concerned. To help make things run as smoothly as possible we’ve compiled this list of tips:

For two days in August exams officers across the country have a short space of time to download and import their exam results in time for their students to come and collect them. They also need to produce analysis reports for their local media and their teachers.
With Progresso, the process is easy and there is no need for checking subject clashing, converting results or downloading and importing reports. This guide outlines how to read your exam results into Progresso.

We’ve collected a list of seven things that you can do to help make this day go as smoothly as possible.
- Follow the pre-results day and results day checklist.
- Make sure your subject mappings are correct.
- Import the new analysis reports and lookup tables.
- Familiarise yourself with the reports.
- Make sure you are including ‘left students’.
- Check the results day Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
- Check which result types are converted.
